We’re always in progress. Here is where inspiration takes root, the ideas are born and the reality begins to reveal itself.

Consolations of philosophy – these artichokes from the family property in Bridgetown, WA were left too long and shrivelled and dried out…I was sad that I didn’t get a chance to eat them, but they bloomed instead, and that was a beautiful consolation. These artichoke flowers, a member of the Thistle family are so architecturally to me. The exterior petals act like the exterior of a building, protecting the precious interior which contrasts beautifully in both colour and character….an inner and outer world within a flower…. #consolationsofphilosphy #artichokeflower #thistleflower #lateharvest #thistlepurple #architectureofflowers
