Love the synchronicity and rhythm of the saw-toothed Dalgety Wool Store in Fremantle against the line of container cranes standing sentinel like industrial giraffes on the horizon…… Industrial landscapes can be so beautiful! #fremantle #westernaustralia #welovewa #industrialvintage #thisiswa #dalgetywoolstore #thingsarchitectslike #urbanrenewal #containercranes #workingport #heirloomapartments

Highgate Residence – maintaining a light touch to the exisiting heritage fabric of the original home was a key driver when approaching detailing. Here the main circulation stair floats across the lovingly tuck-pointed wall of the rear turret. The handrail provides the source of light to the stair, and frameless glass and a slim pendant light maximises transparency through the space….. #chindarsiarchitects #perth #westernaustralia #perthisok #welovewa #perthlife #thisiswa #localdesign #newinperth #highgatewa #federation #heritage #awardwinning #renovation #oldmeetsnew #tuckpointing #bestofbothworlds #hiahousingawards #hiahousingawards2018 #diningroomtable
